Samuel Schwartz


Samuel E. Schwartz, 34, of Monroe, Indiana passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, very unexpectedly. He was born September 23, 1987, to Amos L. and Emma K. (Schwartz) Schwartz. He was married May 11, 2008, to Frances J.J. (Schwartz) Schwartz.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish. He was a farmer and carpenter.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Samuel F., Amos F., Joseph F., Jake F. Schwartz; two daughters, Lizzieann F. and Katie F. Schwartz all at home; five brothers, Elmer E. (Anna) Schwartz; Amos E. (Delilah) Schwartz; and Jake E. (Josephine) Schwartz all of Berne; Daniel E. (Anna) Schwartz of Carlisle, Kentucky; Joe E. (Barbara) Schwartz of Monroe; eight sisters, Katie (Neal) Troyer; Delilah (Joseph) Schwartz; Lovina (Menno) Schwartz; and Lizzie (Menas) Schwartz all of Berne; Rosie (John) Wickey of Owingsville, Kentucky; Lydia (Menno) Schwartz; Emma (John) Schwartz; and Mary (Rudy) Girod all of Monroe; mother-in-law, Lizzieann J. Schwartz; many brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lydia F. Schwartz; father, Amos L. Schwartz; and father-in-law, Jacob I. Schwartz.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 5 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, October 6 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at his residence, 2694 E 300 S, Monroe. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, October 7 at the residence. Bishop Joe S. Schwartz will officiate. Burial will take place at Schwartz Cemetery in Monroe.
