Reed Roll

Reed A. Roll, 60, of Decatur passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born December 29, 1960, at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Columbus, Georgia.
He was an administrative member and Sunday school teacher at New Hope Church for 12 years. He worked as a machine operator at Dolco for 40 years.
He is survived by two sons, Mike (Sara) Roll of Berne; and Richard (Shannon) Roll of Decatur; two daughters, Katrina (Joshua) Tennyson; and Tiffany (Aaron) Colclasure, both of Decatur; two brothers, David (Susie) Roll of Indianapolis; and Phillip Roll of Kentucky; three sisters, Rebecca Andrews; and Robin (Phillip) Callow, both of Decatur; and Laura Lechleidner-Roll of Uniondale; 11 grandchildren, Victoria, Bryan, Owen, Xzander, Kayley, Raiden, Kaleb, Shane, Alice, Aurora and Astrid; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Roll; three brothers, Michael Roll; Robert Roll; and Patrick Roll; granddaughter, Natalie Roll; and two grandsons, Allen Roll; and Axel Roll.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 21 from 1-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, October 22 at New Hope Church. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin August.
Memorials may be made to the grandchildren’s education fund, checks payable to Michael Roll.
