Pearl Whitehead, 89, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Mercer Health in Coldwater, Ohio. She was born May 27, 1931, in Van Wert, Ohio, the youngest daughter of Andrew Jackson and Laura (Kreischer) Bolenbaugh. She married January 27, 1973, to George Whitehead.
She graduated from Ohio City Liberty High School in 1949. She retired from Huffy Bicycle Company after 20 plus years of service.
She is survived by her children, Pat (Ellie) Baker of Berne; Pam Baker of Celina, Ohio; and Jeff Baker of Rockford, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Baker of Rockford, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband May 3, 1981; son, Steve Baker; great-grandson, Kyle Borger; step-grandson, Richard Smith; stepdaughter, Susie Hardin; four sisters, Margaret, Ethel, Anita and Arlene; and six brothers, Deloyd, John, Roy, Alan, Bill and Don.
Following her wishes, there will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
