Pauline Geyer

Pauline Claire Geyer, 95, a resident of Swiss Village in Berne, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, in Fort Wayne.
She was born Dec. 16, 1928, in Berne to Chester and Francis (Reusser) Michaud with her grandfather, Dr. Amos Reusser, assisting. She was married in Aug. of 1951 to Fred L. Geyer, Jr. of Huntington. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in Aug. of 2011 and were grateful for those many years together and serving the Lord.
She lived all her early years in Berne and graduated from Berne High School in 1946. After graduation, she attended Huntington College and St Louis Institute of Music. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and had a beautiful singing voice and loved to sing. She was also a talented cook and played both the piano and organ. She was a very generous person and loved to entertain and had a great sense of humor. In her free time, she liked to travel with her husband and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Spangle of Fort Wayne; son, Alan (Kaola) Geyer, Fort Wayne; two granddaughters, Jessica (Jethro) of the Netherlands; and Valerie (Alula) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two great-grandchildren, Zion and Faven.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2011; sister, Marguerite Sprunger; and infant brother, Harold Michaud.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the noon funeral service Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Liechty Funeral Home, 366 Heritage Trail, Berne.
