Olen Bollenbacher

Olen E. Bollenbacher, 85, of Decatur and formerly of Geneva and Celina, Ohio passed away April 7 at his home. He was born July 2, 1935 to Victor and Chloe (Douglas) Bollenbacher. He married Mary Anne (Brown) March 23, 1956.
He was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Chattanooga, Ohio and  was a grain farmer all his life. He thoroughly enjoyed farming.
He is survived by his wife; four children, Terry (Kim) Bollenbacher of Ossian, Rod (Cathy) Bollenbacher of Geneva, Tricia (Kevin) Haworth of Decatur and Tammy (Stan) Becher of Berne; sister, Alethea Martin of Berne; sister-in-law, Pat Highley of Wabash, Ohio; grandchildren, Kristy (Eventt) Norris, Tiffany (Brian) Turk, Ashley (Alex) Lichtle, Susie (Brian) Brown, Ramsey (Erin) Bollenbacher, Vince (Joni) Bollenbacher, Abby (Shawn) Huey, Mandy (Chad) Ogg, Keaton (Samantha) Becher, Graham Becher; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Spencer Haworth; and brothers-in-law, Willis Martin and Bob Highley.
A celebration of life will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Chattanooga at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 18. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
