Nancy Ford

Nancy J. Ford, 82, of Geneva, formerly of Redkey, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Swiss Village in Berne. She was born on Saturday, October 3, 1936 in Franklin County, Ohio to Gilbert Wilson and Laverna Violet (Calhoun) Forrest. She was married on Friday, September 9, 1955 in Portland to Arthur Leroy Ford.
She was a 1954 graduate of Redkey High School. She was a former member of the New Beginnings Holiness Church of Portland and was now a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Berne. She had worked and retired from dairy farming. She was a member of the Pleasant Neighbors Home Ec. Club and enjoyed crafts, reading and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of Geneva; daughter, Diana Kay (Denny) Flueckiger of Geneva; son-in-law, Stan Brown of Brooksville; sister, Phyllis Curme of Redkey; two step-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Sue Brown; and two brothers, Karl and Stephen Forrest.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, August 19 at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Matthew Phillips. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
