Marvin L. Wickey, 21, of Bryant passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 12:04 a.m. due to injuries received in a buggy/semi accident in rural Jay County on SR 67. He was born Wednesday, September 2, 1998, in Jay County to Eli B. and Caroline E. Wickey.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish.
He is survived by his parents of Bryant; maternal grandparents, Emanuel and Emma Wickey of Hope, Kentucky; paternal grandmother, Bertha Wickey of Geneva; special friend, Rosa ES Eicher of Bryant; five brothers, Amos L. (Barbara) Wickey; Eli L. (Ann) Wickey; Jonathan L. Wickey; Jacob L. Wickey; and Reuben L. Wickey, all of Bryant; seven sisters, Ruth L. (Jacob) Schwartz of Geneva; and Edna L. Wickey; Bertha L. Wickey; Emma L. Wickey; Amanda L. Wickey; Rhoda L. Wickey; and Christine L. Wickey, all of Bryant; five nephews; one niece; and several cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, July 3 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, July 4 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at Eli B. Wickey’s residence, 245W 650N, Bryant. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 5 at 9 a.m. at the residence. Officiating will be Bishop Mervin B. Wickey. Burial will be at Bearcreek Amish Cemetery in rural Bryant.
