Mandy Arnold

Mandy Jo Arnold, 42, of Decatur went home to be with her Father in Heaven Friday, September 17, 2021. She was at home with her husband, Brent; daughter, Macy, 17; and sons, Cole, 15, Max, 10 and Crew, 8, all of whom made up the entirety of her whole world. Her eight-year long battle with cancer was so very courageous, and through it all, she modeled a life worth celebrating. She will always be remembered….
Her love for her children was nothing less than incredible as they were the pride and joy of her life. She loved them with such passion and pleasure it was remarkable to behold.
She also loved dancing, which she did for 15 years with the Suzy Fuelling Dance Studio and as an instructor for another 13 years with Razz M’ Jazz. She enjoyed the yearly vacations to Fort Myers Beach at Lahaina Inn, which was the perfect beach destination for a growing family. She loved flowers and the color pink. She especially loved the summer months and sitting on her front porch at the lake cottage.
She was born January 16, 1979, in Decatur to Darwin E. and Becky L. (Miller) Pierstorff. She graduated from Bellmont High School in 1997. She was married September 29, 2001, in Decatur to Brent M. Arnold. She homeschooled all of her children and was a member of WACHE. Her love for babies, anything silver and shiny, note pads and Bibles was surpassed by no one.
She is survived by her parents; her husband; her four children; sister, Lynn (Phil) Pluister of Anderson, South Carolina; brother, Adam Grimm of Warsaw; and her father and mother-in-law, Keith and Lilli Arnold of Decatur.
She was a caring and loving person, kind, gentle and compassionate, which all stemmed from her faith in God. Her faith was unshakable, solid and true. She was an example to all her knew her and inspirational to those who would know her story.
