Loren Moser

Loren D. Moser, 87, of Berne passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Swiss Village in Berne. He was born October 18, 1933, in Berne to Marcus and Linda (Stucky) Moser. He was married October 18, 1958, at the West Missionary Church in Berne to Grace Liechty.
He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Adams Central High School class of 1951 and attended DeVry Tech College in Chicago, Illinois. He retired in May of 1996 from Micro Precision Textron, working as a research and development technician. He was a member of West Missionary Church in Berne, where he taught Sunday school for over 50 years. He had been on mission work trips to Haiti and twice to Hawaii. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching sports, IU basketball and maintaining their property.
He is survived by his wife of Berne; son, David (Amy) L. Moser of Huntertown; daughter; Rebecca Boswell of Lamoni, Iowa; two sisters, Caro Jones of Argos; and Margery (Jim) Bowman of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Heather (Greg) Krempel; Sean Moser; Renee Boswell; Jeffrey (Cheyenne) Boswell; and Nicholas Boswell; and two great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Krempel; and Hope Elizabeth Krempel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Douglas Mark Moser; grandson, Craig Anthony Boswell; three brothers, Robert, James and Lee Moser; and sister, Vera Sprunger.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29 from 3-8 p.m. at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, June 30 at West Missionary Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Rupp.
