Larry Dubach

Larry L. Dubach, 82, of Berne, Indiana passed away early Monday morning, April 5, 2021, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.  He was born at home on January 11, 1939, in Berne, Indiana to Clinton and Silva (Stucky) Dubach. He was united in marriage May 24, 1976 to Jeanne Grover.
He graduated from Hartford High School in 1957 and served in the National Guard. He was a dairy farmer and drove a bulk milk truck for over 30 years for Moser Trucking and 10 years for Ralph Gerber Trucking. He enjoyed restoring Allis Chalmers tractors, collecting die-cast tractors and attending antique tractor shows.
He is survived by his wife of Berne; son, Dean (Mindy) Dubach of Decatur; three daughters, Leondia (Mark) Walchle and Monica (Mike) Gremaux of Decatur and Tara Dubach and Brian Klarer, of Berne; two step-sons, Mitch (Pam) Stookey of Fortville, and Timothy (Janice) Grover of Decatur; two step-daughters, Anndra Deiser of Geneva and Molli Hirschy of Berne; brothers, James (Karen) Dubach of Geneva and Harry (Carol) Dubach of Berne; sister, Carolyn (Jerry) Hunnicutt of Bella Vista, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Deatra and Jarren Gremaux, Cole Walchle and Maverick Dubach; 15 step-grandchildren, Meg Reichert, Jake McCullough, Michael (Lisa) Grover, Scott (Stacy) Stookey, Jenadee (Jeff) Ostrander, Chana (Adam) Drew, Nathan Hunt, Travis (Heather) Hunt, Dustin (Brittany) Hunt, Trevor (Amie) Hunt, Shane (Erika) McBride, Chad (Jill) McBride, Crista (Lucas) Elias, Kevin (Stacy) Deiser, Karen (Quincy) Springer; and 31 step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Maxine Cook, Virginia Harter, Kathleen Agler and Bonnie VonGunten.
Private family services will be held. Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice.
