Kody Mouser

Kody Allen Mouser, 30, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. He was a father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a graduate of South Adams High School. He furthered his career at Ivy Tech and earned a certificate in welding.
He will always be remembered for his intelligence and mischief. From a young age, it was a challenge to keep his interest in any one topic, because he always flew through the material. Furthermore, if it became too quiet or you couldn’t find him, you had a slight oh no thought, because you never knew what prank or experiment he was up to.
His last wish was to help others. As a way to fulfill this wish, he wanted to donate his organs. We are happy to share that he was able to fulfill this wish by giving organs to four separate recipients.
He is survived by his mother, Melody Ballanger; father, Aaron Mouser; his children Lily, Melody and Skyler;  two brothers, his twin, Kyle Mouser; and Josh (Sarah) Jacobs; two sisters, Jessica (Nathan) Bluhm; and Nicole (Bobby Wright) Jacobs; and paternal grandparents, Dave and Joan Mouser.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparent, Dana Battles; and maternal grandparents, Robert Ballinger; Marilyn Ballinger; and Ron Lauth.
A celebration of life service will take place this summer.
Please keep our family in your thoughts as we remember him. Memorials may be made at https://supporting.afsp.org/campaign/Kody-Mousers-Memorial.
