Karly Thompson

Karly Renee Thompson, 28, of Berne passed away peacefully Saturday June 27, 2020, at her residence. She was born December 27, 1991, in Fort Wayne to Richard Thompson and Lori Holocher McKinley.
She was a frequent participant with the Agape program in Berne for many years. She was a social butterfly who loved and touched the hearts of everyone she met with her smile and silly personality. She loved her books and never went anywhere without one. She loved watching PBS Kids, SpongeBob, Daniel the Tiger and Rugrats along with music, dancing and eating. She loved her family. She was small but mighty and was noticed by all. She played for 12 years in the Agape summer baseball league. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Lori (Robert) McKinley of Berne; father, Richard Thompson of Fort Wayne; brother, Wesly Thompson of Berne; sister, Riley (fiancé Peter Amstutz) Thompson of Berne; three step-sisters, Brooke (Jared) Clark; Holly (Adam) Kohler; and Kara (Patrick) Powel, all of Cape Coral, Florida; aunt, Suzi (Matt) Vincent of Sarasota, Florida; two uncles, Ted Holocher of Fort Wayne; and Gary (Cindi) Williams of Cary, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Margaret Williams of Berne; grandparents, Dave and Nancy McKinley of Spencerville; and several beloved cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, John Williams; and Jerry Holocher, along with Chuck and Carol Raugh.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1 from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, July 2 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home – Yager Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Eric Lehman. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.
