Joyce Fox

Joyce Elaine Fox, 82, of Berne passed away on October 19, 2019 at her residence following an unexpected medical event. She was born on November 8, 1936 in Adams County to Harry and Esther (Reinhard) Lehman. She was married on April 20, 1957 at the First Mennonite Church in Berne to Edward Fox.
She was a lifelong member of First Mennonite Church in Berne, where she served on the library committee. She worked in the office at Berne Furniture for 10 years. She retired from EP Graphics as a human resource representative following 20 plus years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, cooking, puzzles and entertaining guests.
She is survived by her husband of Berne; two sons, Thomas (Kathy) Fox;  and Jonathan (Mary) Fox, both of Berne; daughter, Mary (Jeff) Veal of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren, Emily (Tim) Ludden; Matthew (Jill) Fox; Alexia (Ben) Schamp; Blake (Lyndsey) Fox; Nicole Veal; Chad Veal; and Christina Veal; and one great-grandchild, Blakelyn Fox.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dr. Max Lehman.
Visitation will be from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 27 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the First Mennonite Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Schwartz. A private burial at MRE cemetery will take place prior to the memorial service.
Memorials may be made to the missions at First Mennonite Church in Berne.
