John Eicher

John Henry Eicher, 91, of rural Geneva passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at 7 a.m. at his residence. He was born February 21, 1930. He was married to Magdalena Schwartz.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He was the owner of Eicher’s Bakery.
He is survived by eight daughters, Bertha (Paul) Zehr; Anna (David) Eicher; and Mattie (Sam) Eicher, all of Grabill; Sarah (Daniel) Schwartz of Kentucky; Leah (Edwin) Stuerly of Pennsylvania; Elizabeth Wengerd of Ohio; Josephine (Joseph) Lengacher of Harlan; Katie (Enos) Schwartz of Berne; seven sons, Pete (Sylvia) Eicher; John (Rosie) Eicher; Jake (Elizabeth) Eicher; and Aaron (Rebecca) Eicher, all of Geneva; Sam (Katheryn) Eicher of Pennsylvania; Christ (Mary) Eicher of Grabill; and Andy (Nioma) Eicher of Michigan; son-in-law, Eli Yoder; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Mary Yoder; son-in-law, Menno Wengerd; brother, Jake Eicher; and five sisters, Agnes (Nick) Schwartz; Anna (Henry) Delegrange; Mary (David) Wengerd; Martha (Joe) Schwartz; and Emma (Jonas) Schwartz.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9 from 12-8 p.m. and Wednesday, March 10 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. at the John Henry Eicher residence, 9380S 50E, Geneva. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 11 at 9 a.m. at the residence. Officiating will be Bishop Pete J. Eicher. Burial will be at Bunkerhill Cemetery in rural Geneva.
