Harold Wolverton

Harold "Henry" Wolverton, 51, of Berne, formerly of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 8 a.m. at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur. He was born August 19, 1968 in Marion to Harold and Alma (Tinkle) Wolverton.
He was a 1986 graduate of Eastbrook High School. He formerly worked at RCA/Thompson in Marion, Chrysler in Kokomo, Nissan in Findlay, Ohio and currently worked at Red Gold in Geneva. He enjoyed playing pool and disk golf during his free time, eating Mexican food and riding his motorcycle. He especially enjoyed his grandkids and watching them participate in gymnastics and baseball. He made everyone around him smile with his contagious laugh. He could take anyone's worst day and turn it around to become their best day. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Kirstie Van Ness White of Van Buren; two grandchildren, Haiden and Zayne of Van Buren; eight siblings, Tammy (Brad) Korporal of Mt. Etna; Shelly Rish; and Pat Stair, both of Marion; Melody (Bill) McNeely of Walton; Dawn (Rick) Shockey of UP, Michigan; Jeff (Annette) Stair of Converse; Sandra Mittank of Upland; and Robin (Mike) Sperling of Swayzee; best friend, Ronnie Brummett of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lynn Harshaw.
Visitation will be Monday, June 29 from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, June 30 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Van Buren. The family is asking all friends to share in his love for motorcycles by wearing Harley Davidson apparel when coming to the funeral home.
