Gregory Allen Cole, 66, of Berne passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at his residence. He was born November 6, 1955, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to David G. and Edith M. (McFarland) Cole.
He was a member of the Blue Creek Conservation Club and the Willshire Conservation Club. He was a repairman for 30 years that worked on safes and ATMs for Diebold.
He enjoyed gardening, canning, riding his motorcycle and target shooting. He was an amazing artist and photographer. He enjoyed studying his Bible. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his mother of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sara (Jason) Windsor of Ossian; son, Isaiah (fiancé Kaylyn) Cole of Decatur; three brothers, Eric (Jan) Cole of Anchorage, Alaska; Brent Cole of Decatur; and Paul (fiancé Tina) Cole of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Valerie (Jim) Badiac of Leo; and Karen (Vince) Torrez of Fort Wayne; and seven grandchildren, Harley, Quentin, Riley, Veronica, Vada, Oliver, Eliora and two on the way, Joshua and Wren.
He was preceded in death by his father; and son, Ian Voirol.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the 3 p.m. funeral service Sunday, July 10 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Abbott.
