Gordon Cook

Gordon R. Cook, 86, of Berne passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at his residence. He was born May 20, 1933, in Almont, Michigan to Morris and Helen (Behnke) Cook. He was married in 1994 to Bonnie (Affolder) Milholland.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Cross Community Church in Berne. He had worked at Key Fasteners in Berne.
He is survived by his step-son, Greg (Marty) Milholland of Decatur; step-daughter-in-law, Vicki Milholland of Decatur; four grandchildren, Kyle (Karen) Milholland; and Vince Milholland, both of Decatur; Anne (Mo) Elhassnaoui of Fort Wayne; and Erin (Vinnie) Espinosa of Indianapolis; and six great-grandchildren, Quentin Espinosa; Addie Espinosa; Wesley Milholland; Hallie Milholland; Conner Milholland; and Ava Elhassnaoui.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on December 2, 2004; step-son, Allan Milholland; and brother, Larry Cook.
Due to guidelines established by the state of Indiana in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services will be held.
Memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
