Diann Yoder

Diann Kay Yoder, 81, of Bluffton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio. She was born April 29, 1940, in Decatur to Milo and Inez (Luginbill) Habegger. She was married September 17, 1961, to Alan Yoder.
She was a graduate of Berne-French High School in Berne and received her nursing degree from the Lutheran School of Nursing in Fort Wayne. She worked as a registered nurse at Indiana University Hospital and Bluffton Hospital. She later worked with her husband and son at Family Eye Care in Bluffton, Ohio. She was a member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church, the Telesis Club, Gideon's Auxiliary and Reaching Women.
She enjoyed playing bridge with the Women's Bridge Club and the Couple's Bridge Club. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, making candy for 50 years with her friends, traveling the world and spending her winters in Florida. She had a way of making all celebrations for her family and friends extra special. She cherished her family second only to her relationship with Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband of Bluffton, Ohio; two sons, Mark (Julie) Yoder of Bluffton, Ohio; and Michael (Rebecca) Yoder of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Paul Yoder; David (Anna) Yoder; Rachel (Nathan) West; Austin (Sam) Yoder; Alec Yoder; and Ashlyn Yoder; two great-grandchildren, Joy and Lucas Yoder; and a sister, Marilyn Beaverson of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services in Bluffton, Ohio and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, November 17 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church in Bluffton, Ohio. Officiating will be Pastor Jim King. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Bluffton, Ohio.
Memorials may be made to Bluffton-Pandora Youth for Christ, Mission Possible, Findlay or the Ebenezer Mennonite Church Mission Fund.
