Deborah Parrett

Deborah A. Parrett, 70, of Berne passed away Monday, July 13, 2020, at 12:14 a.m. at Swiss Village in Berne. She was born Wednesday, March 29, 1950, in Decatur to Frederick W. and Chloe E. (Bailey) Davidson.
She was a 1968 graduate of South Adams High School and was a member of the Calvary Bible Church in Berne. She was a member of the WMS at Calvary Bible Church. She would watch kids at the blood drive, was a den mother with the Cub Scouts, was a Girl Scout leader and was a member of the Monroe Lions Club. She was a big fan of the Texas A&M Aggies. She formerly worked at Berne Furniture, Swiss Village and the Kozy Corner in Geneva. She loved her cat, Miss Kitty.
She is survived by her son, Mitchell Parrett of Bluffton; daughter, Lisa Parrett of Decatur; sister, Jocelyn "Jodi" Zerby of Berne; brother, Mark T. (Nancy Scott) Davidson of Berne; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Davidson; and Kevin Davidson; and sister, Kira Jean Davidson.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16 from 2-4 p.m. at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva with the funeral service following at 4:30 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Joseph Nass and Rev. Henry Schaadt. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
