Brad Booher

Brad "Cody" Booher, 75, of Geneva passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home. He was born on Tuesday, February 22, 1944 in Geneva to Ivan Gail and Golda Adaline Cathine (Blowers) Booher. He was married on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the fire station in Geneva to Margaret Pauline Cover.
He was a 1962 graduate of Geneva High School. He retired from Elkhart Products in Geneva after 32 years of commitment to the company. He was a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association Auxiliary, Berne American Legion Post #468, Geneva V.F.W Auxiliary and a 51 year proud member of the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed traveling and watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of Geneva; two daughters, Melinda "Mindy" Jo (Lance) Lehman of Berne; and Tamara Renee (Morningstar) (husband, Dennis Seip) of Geneva; step-son, Renneth Roy Cover of Geneva;
sister, Farrell Booher of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Tim Booher of Geneva; three grandsons, Cody L. (Kara) Lehman of Berne; and Mavrick F. Morningstar; and Mason H. Morningstar, both of Geneva; and a great-granddaughter, Ava Lehman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Wayne Booher; three brothers, Howard Booher; Coy Booher; and Bruce Booher; and two sisters, Joyce Bergman; and Connie Manning.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6 at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva. The Geneva Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting a special memorial service at 7 p.m.
In honoring his wishes, there will be no funeral service, and burial will take place at a later date.
