Beulah Galloway

Beulah F. Galloway, 102, of Geneva, passed away at 2:48 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 26, 2023, at her residence in Geneva.  She was born Friday, Mar. 18, 1921, in Geneva to George and Maggie (Bone) Glassburn.  She was married Sunday, November 20, 1938, to Clarence Galloway in Dunkirk.
She taught Sunday school at Trinity Life Chapel and at the Geneva Church of the Nazarene for 50 years. She had done lots of work for the church, including missionary work. She drove the bus for the Adams County Council on Aging. She enjoyed crafting with canvas and crocheting blankets.
She is survived by three sons, Larry L. Galloway; Russell R. Galloway; and James R. Galloway all of Geneva; grandchildren, Skeeter Williams; Carolyn Hirschy; and Tammy Hodle all of Geneva; Carey Galloway of Bryant; James M. Galloway of Decatur; Jesse Galloway of Oak Grove, Kentucky; and Melissa Peek of Eaton; 28 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Judith A. Galloway; grandchild, Russel Wade Galloway; grandchild, Tracy Crane; six brothers and three sisters.
Visitation is from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1 at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, Oct. 2 at the funeral home. Rev. Wilber Taylor and Erin Galloway will officiate. Burial will take place at M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne.
