Betty Lou Bebout, 95, longtime resident of Berne, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Monday, January 11, 2021, at Chalet Village in Berne. She was born October 25, 1925, in Decatur to Archie and Carol (Baumgartner) Parr. She was married to Harold Richard Bebout.
She was a member of Grace Bible Church in Berne. She was a very accomplished pianist and was the church organist at Calvary Bible Church in Berne for over 30 years. She had a strong faith and belief in Jesus Christ.
She was a graduate of Berne High School and she also attended Bob Jones University. She worked in production at Dunbar Furniture. She and her husband and son, Michael, were avid I.U. fans.
She is survived by her son, Michael Bebout (USAF retired) of Fort Wayne; grandson, Nicholas Stout of Fort Wayne; and brother, John Parr of Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 22, 2009; son, Brian L. Bebout; and brother, Dwight Parr.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the 1:30 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, January 14 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Harold Klinker. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.
