Starfires squeak past Central, 5-4
South Adams won the big softball sectional showdown with Adams Central Tuesday afternoon. The Starfires came out on top, 5-4, after a wild seventh inning that saw South Adams break a 3-3 tie with two runs in the top of the inning and Adams Central come back with one in its half before leaving the tying and winning runs on base.
