South Adams program honors veterans, challenges students

Ronald Reagan’s words, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction,” echoed repeatedly Friday at the South Adams Schools Veterans Day program. With youth looking on from the bleachers and seasoned military veterans, supportive family, and thankful community members covering the gymnasium floor, guest speaker Marine Corp Major Marcus Moyer reminded the assembly of the fragility of freedom.
