SA farm well in black

Hay and soybeans were the major crops in the three fields farmed on South Adams land for the 2017 year. Revenue from the hay brought in $7,075.47 while beans brought in $26,740.32 totaling $33,815.79. Expenses for the crops totaled $11,930.44. This equaled a profit from the school farm of $21,885.35. This money will go back into the school’s FFA account for registration for the chapter, program expenses, convention fees, contest entry fees, and other such program expenses.
