Funding for Heritage Room is challenge

​Berne Public Library director Kathy Gerber has nothing but praise for the facility’s Heritage Room — a portion of the library that she considers to be “very rare” for a town the size of Berne. “I know very few libraries the size of ours that has anything like it,” said Gerber recently.
