Berne Community Market receives Chamber award

Leap Year 2000 proved to be the lucky star for Berne Community Market as it was on Feb. 28, of that year that Gerber Brothers Super Valu closed its doors along US 27 on the north side of Berne. The following day, Feb. 29, the store opened as Berne Community Market.
