Linda Fifer

Linda L. Fifer, 76, of Decatur passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur. She was born on Feb. 14, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri to G. Verl and Alta Mae (Tumbleson) Lautzenheiser. She was married Oct. 19, 1995, in Monroe to Tom Fifer.
She was a member of the American Legion and retired from Fleetwood in Decatur. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially playing with the grandchildren and watching all their sporting activities. She always looked forward to her son, Todd, coming home for visits, and she loved shopping with her daughters and granddaughters and drinking margaritas. She enjoyed gardening and walking on the beach. She and her devoted husband loved spending every free moment together.
She is survived by her husband of Decatur; son, Todd (Elaine) Fellers of Edmond, Oklahoma; two daughters, Amy (Brent) LeFever of Berne; and Cami (Kevin Sanders) Schultz of Decatur; two stepsons, Jason (Mandy) Fifer of Convoy, Ohio; and Ryan (Madilyn) Fifer of Fishers; two stepdaughters, Shaunda Fifer of Manitou Springs, Colorado; and Heather (Kyle) Busby of Dover, Delaware; sister-in-law, Linda Lautzenheiser of Decatur; two half-sisters, Janet (Wes) Campbell; and Karen (Terry) Reitz; 14 grandchildren, Amber (Scott) Steiner; Andrew (Julie) Dull; Madison (Joseph) Grisko; Audrey (Chris) Hurst; Andi (fiance Jordan Stephenson) Schultz; Nathan Schultz; Nick Schultz; Cari (Matthew) Krawiecs; Malarie (Scott) Jackson; Matthew (Whitney) Fellers; Hadley Busby; Taylor (Brodie) LeFever; Natalie (Adam) Grote; and Zachary LeFever; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Cole Dull; brother, Larry Lautzenheiser; and half brother, Jens (Sheila) Barclay.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the 2 p.m. celebration of life service Sunday, Oct. 15 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur. Officiating will be Pastor Harold Klinker.
