Emma Schwartz

Emma G. Schwartz, 74, of Adams County passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 11:34 p.m. at her home. She was born Monday, Sep. 27, 1948, in Adams County to Joe E. and Elizabeth (Girod) Eicher. She was married Thursday, Oct. 28, 1971, to Raymond N.  Schwartz.
She was of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her husband; nine daughters, Rachel (Samuel) Wengerd; Sarah (Ben) Wengerd; Elizabeth (Simon) Troyer; Barbara (Mose) Schwartz; Ann Girod; and Verna Schwartz, all of Geneva; Susanna (Joe) Schwartz; and Leah (Marcus) Schwartz, both of Monroe; and Mary (David) Schwartz of Portland; four sons, Simon (Sarah) Schwartz of Licking, Missouri; Joseph (Rebecca) Schwartz of Decatur; and Noah (Mattie) Schwartz; and Neal (Lizzie) Schwartz, both of Geneva; brother, Samuel (Edith) Eicher of Berne; two sisters, Naomi (Pete) Neuenschwander of Geneva; and Mary Schwartz of Monroe; 112 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law; five grandchildren; three brothers; five sisters; and one brother-in-law.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 22 from 12-8 p.m. and Sunday, July 23 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. at her residence, 2185 E. 1100 S., Geneva. Funeral services will be Monday, July 24 at 9 a.m. at the residence. Officiating will be Bishop Jonas Neuenschwander. Burial will be at Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery in Geneva.
