Donna Tiede

Donna Lea Tiede, 78, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, after a long but brave battle against Alzheimer’s. She was born on May 1, 1944, in Adams County. She was one of five children born to Bert and Martha Parr.
She and her husband, Rolf Tiede, were inseparable. They owned and ran a laundry equipment company together. They loved to travel all over the world, but their favorite destination was Hawaii. Everyone that knew them could see how incredibly in love and perfect for each other they were. They had so much fun creating amazing memories no matter where they went.
Her greatest pride and joy was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved dancing, singing and music of all kinds. She was a very devout Christian and loved to read the Bible and listen to and sing old hymns.
She was a very positive person who brought a smile to everyone that was blessed enough to be around her. She will be truly missed by everyone, however, we know how incredibly happy she is being reunited with her husband.
She is survived by her sister, Judy Dye; son, Quintin (Dana) Weaver; daughter, Nichol (Shane) Manas; two stepdaughters, Linae Tiede; and Tricia Copenhaver; five grandchildren, Jordan, Mason, Gracesyn, Brenna and Hadyn; four step-granddaughters, Brittany, Abby, Kaylee and Samantha; two step-grandsons, Cody and Nathan; and five great-grandchildren, Karsyn, Kinslea, Maverick, Mitchell and Camila and another one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three siblings, Robert, Keith and Margaret.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 1-4 p.m. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Dr., Georgetown, Texas immediately followed by a celebration of life service at her daughter’s home, 1105 Shinnecock Hills Dr., Georgetown, Texas 78628.
