Amos J. Graber

Amos J. Graber, 69, of Berne, rural Adams County passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at 8:22 a.m. at his residence. He was born Friday, Nov. 12, 1954, in Geneva to Jonas and Margaret Graber. He was married to Amanda J. Coblentz.
He was of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife of Berne; nine sons, Jake A. (Katherine) Graber; and Noah Graber, both of Geneva; Jonas (Mary U.H.) Graber of Cub Run, Kentucky; Moge A. (Elizabeth L.L.) Graber; Albert A. (Lydia A.) Graber; David A. Graber; Paul A. (Elizabeth A.) Graber; and Amos A. (Mary Jane A.) Graber, all of Berne; and Johnny A (Lucinda LL) Graber of Monroe; seven daughters, Margaret A. (Eli V.) Shelter; Martha A (Jerome B) Shelter; Betty A Graber; and Mary A (Cornel DL) Schwartz, all of Berne; Annie (David LL) Schwartz of Monroe; Amanda (Levi LL) Schwartz of Celina, Ohio; and Lydia A (Jonas EA) Graber of Geneva; three brothers, Chris J (Mary) Graber; John J (Barbara) Graber; and Jacob J Graber, all of Geneva; four sisters, Margaret (Amos) Hilty of Bluffton; Mary (Martin) Schwartz of Berne; Louina (Jacob) Hilty of Monroe; and Emma (Joni) Hilty of Lexington, Illinois; 124 grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, David, Jonas, Reuben, Samuel and Daniel Graber; and three sisters; Leah Schwartz; Lydia Hilty; and Josephine Graber
Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 30 from 12-8 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Graber residence, 7712 S. 600 E., Berne. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. at the residence. Officiating will be Bishop Alvin Graber. Burial will be at Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery in Geneva.
