Bellmont smothers Comets in sectional opener

Eastern (Greentown) battled back from an early deficit, but had no answer for Bellmont’s half-court defense in the second quarter and wound up falling quickly off the pace in the opening game of the Norwell Class 3A boys’ basketball sectional Tuesday night.
