Annual bird count brings successful results

The 123rd annual Christmas Bird Count on New Year’s Eve proved to be one of the most successful in recent years, according to Terri Gorney Lehman, who once again headed up the event. Lehman said that both the amount of birds and different species counted included more of a variety than had been accounted for in recent years.
