Paula L. McCollum

Paula L. McCollum, 74, of Keystone, Nottingham Township, Wells County, passed away at 3:04 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017 at River Terrace Estates in Bluffton. She was born on Wednesday, May 5, 1943 in Happy, Kentucky to Fred D. and Polly (Combs) Burns. She was married on Saturday, May 13, 1961 in Angola to Arthur L.  McCollum.

She worked at CTS and Berne Apparel and Peyton's in Bluffton. She enjoyed walking and attended the Church of the Living God in Dunkirk.

She is survived by four brothers, Phillip (Beatrice) Burns of Rydal, Georgia; Adrian (Doris) Burns of Bluffton; Denver (Tammy) Burns of Georgia; and Danny (Lisa) Burns of Warren; six sisters, Eunice (Donald Lee) West; Christine Eisenhut; and Cora Meadows, all of Bluffton; Joyce Morgan of Pennville; Mary (Roger) Raugh of Geneva; and Charlene Gobernatz of Markle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on January 12, 2012; two sisters, Margaret Bailey; and Carol Hurt; and brother, Fred D. Burns, Jr.

Visitation was from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7 and will be two hours prior to the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, September 8 at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Prough. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
