Jack D. Raudenbush

Jack D. Raudenbush, 83, of Berne passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Friday, January 19, 1934 in Adams County to Don N. and Ina E. (Alspaugh) Raudenbush. He was married in 1953 to Myrna Foor. She preceded him in death on February 15, 1995. He was married on April 27, 1996 to Mary K. (Perry) Affolder.

He retired from International Harvester in 1985 and he was a salesman at Courtesy Motors in Decatur. He was also a lifelong Blue Creek Township farmer. He was a member of the F & A M Lodge in Decatur and a former member of the Shriner's in Fort Wayne. He attended West Missionary Church in Berne.

He is survived by his wife of Berne; daughter, Angela Raudenbush Johnson of Monroe; son, Kelly Raudenbush of Decatur; two step-daughters, Angie Sprunger of Bryant; and Tonnia (Perry) Lepley of Berne; two sisters, Rose Rush of Geneva; and Nancy (Stan) Lehman of Berne; brother, Don K. (Barbara) Raudenbush of Jupiter, Florida; sister-in-law, Arlene Raudenbush of Shawnee-Mission, Kansas; four grandchildren, Jason (Karen) Raudenbush; Ryne (Emily) Johnson; Erika (Shane) McBride; and Morgan Raudenbush-Dietrich; four step-grandchildren, Daniel (Heidi) Sprunger; Denise (James) Sprunger; Breonna Lepley; and Brittany Lepley; and eight great-grandchildren, Dylan McBride; Nolan Raudenbush; Adrienne Johnson; Dakota Sprunger; Brock Sprunger; Brendon Sprunger; Colton Sprunger; and Alena Sprunger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Merle Lynn Raudenbush in 1957; and Kevin Lee Raudenbush in 1981; step-son-in-law, Van Sprunger; and brother, Rex Raudenbush.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18 at  Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the 10:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, August 19 at West Missionary Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Rupp and Pastor Bill Lepley. Burial will be at Willshire Cemetery in Willshire, Ohio.
