Harry D. Yoder

Harry D. Yoder, 82, of Berne passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur. He was born on February 25, 1936 in Adams County to Raymond and Ida (Habegger) Yoder.

He was a faithful member of the First Mennonite Church in Berne. He was employed in the cushion department at Berne Furniture for over 50 years and helped his folks on the farm. He was an avid sports fan, especially cheering on his favorite IU basketball team.

He is survived by his sister, Vernelle Yoder; sister-in-law, Barbara Yoder of Berne; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John, Leroy R., and Jerry Yoder; and two sisters, Ilva Yoder; and Evanna Yoder.

Visitation will be an hour and a half prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Monday, May 21 at the Swiss Village Chapel in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Flueckiger. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.

Memorials may be made to the Mennonite Missions.
