Ada Marie Frank

Ada Marie Frank, 94, of Berne passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur. She was born on July 25, 1922 to Rufus and Cora Sprunger. She was married on November 22, 1947 to Lester Frank.

She retired as a secretary from First Mennonite Church in Berne. Until her decline in health, she was active in volunteering in her church and at Swiss Heritage Village. She was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt adding sweetness, joy, and light to the lives of her loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter, Kaye (Allen) Voth of Overland Park, Kansas; three sons, Keith (Dianne) Frank of Fort Wayne; and Kent (Jeanne) Frank; and Kurt Frank, all of Berne; sister, Marjorie Von Gunten of Berne; ten grandchildren; Brian (Jenn) Frank; David (Jen) Frank; and Eric (Sophie Patton) Frank, all of Fort Wayne; Alex (Emily) Frank of San Jose, California; Lorri (Caleb) Baker of Olathe, Kansas; Brent Voth of Overland Park, Kansas; and Nicole Frank; Ian Frank; Natalia Frank; and Cline Frank; all of Berne; and seven great-grandchildren; Lydia, Lukas, and Lawson Frank; Wolfgang Frank-Patton; and Marie Frank, all of Fort Wayne; and Josh and Lily Baker of Olathe, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2005; two brothers, Millard Sprunger; and Raymond Sprunger; and two sisters, Helen Beer; and Maryann Sprunger in infancy.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27 and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, September 28 at Swiss Village Chapel in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Lithicum. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.
