Starfires ground Jets in sectional opener

Behind the strong pitching of Grant Besser and timely hitting of Joe Stuber, South Adams avenged a May 10 loss by defeating Adams Central in the first round of the Class 2A Adams Central baseball sectional 7-1 Thursday night.
