Hurt still sees wiggle room in potential tariff threats
Chris Hurt, well-known agriculture economics professor at Purdue University, said recently that if China’s threat of imposing tariffs on United States soybeans shipped into their country became a reality, China would be more likely to turn to other world suppliers such as Argentina and Brazil, to look for cheaper prices in purchasing soybeans.
